Policies
We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible and with no surprises, therefore we ask that you please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our general and special cases policies.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Check-in starts at 3:00PM and check out is no later than 11:00AM.
Breakfast
Included with your room is a full breakfast served between 8:00AM and 10:00 AM in the dining room or brought to your room. Please let us know if your plans require an earlier breakfast time.
Room Occupancy
A maximum of two people is allowed per room.
Children
The Woodstocker is designed with the comfort and relaxation of adults in mind, therefore we will only accommodate children 16 and older.
Note: Please contact us if you wish to book the entire Bed & Breakfast for special occasions as different policies may apply (802-457-3896).
Pets
We are sorry not to accept pets at the Bed & Breakfast.
Service animals (as defined by law) are welcome. They are not pets and must remain with their owner at all times.
Smoking
The Woodstocker is a smoke-free property. A $250 cleaning fee will be levied for violating this restriction, the guest will be asked to leave the property, and will be charged for the entire stay.
General Deposit and Cancellation Policies
The policies are applicable all year long except for Dartmouth Graduation in June (please see dates below), Wassail weekend (Weekend of the 2d Saturday in December), Foliage (September-October) and multi-room bookings (please see below for those special cases). We accept all major credit cards.
For a single night stay, a payment of 100% will be charged. For a multiple night stay we will process a deposit equal to half the stay with payment of any balance due processed within 14 days (or more for special cases listed below) prior to check-in.
For reservations made directly with us or on our website, and except for the special cancellation deadlines listed below:
Cancellation 30 days or more before check-in: Full refund minus a $35 cancellation fee.
Cancellation 14 to 29 days before check-in: Full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 14 days before check-in: The deposit and any outstanding balance due will be retained.
For reservations made on websites such as Booking.com, Expedia, etc., and except for the special cancellation deadlines listed below:
Cancellation 14 days or more before check-in: Loss of first night’s cost.
Cancellation less than 14 days before check-in: The deposit and any outstanding balance due will be retained.
Special Cases Deposit and Cancellation Policies
Wassail weekend in December:
100% deposit processed upon booking.
Cancellation 30 days or more before check-in: Full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 30 days before check-in: The entire amount paid will be retained.
Dates: Dec 9-11, 2022; Dec 8-10, 2023; Dec 13-15, 2024
Dartmouth graduation weekend in June:
100% deposit processed upon booking.
Cancellation 60 days or more before check-in: Full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 60 days before check-in: The entire amount paid will be retained.
Dates: June 9-13, 2022; June 8-12, 2023; June 6-10, 2024
Foliage (September/October):
Payment of any balance due processed within 30 days prior to check-in.
Cancellation 30 days or more before check-in: Full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation less than 30 days before check-in: The deposit and any outstanding balance due will be retained.
Multiple rooms booked under one reservation or multiple bookings for the same day (i.e. same person booking multiple reservations under same or different names):
Three and four rooms booked:
Cancellation (for any one room) 30 days or more before check-in: A cancellation fee equal to the deposit of the cancelled room(s) will be retained.
Cancellation (for any one room) less than 30 days before check-in: The deposit and any outstanding balance due will be retained for the cancelled room(s).
More than four rooms booked:
The full amount is due upon booking and is not refundable.
No shows, arrivals after the reserved date, or departure before the final date of a guaranteed reservation, will be charged the full amount of the reserved stay.
Our Mission
At The Woodstocker B&B, we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information. Information Collection Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at The Woodstocker B&B. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. The Woodstocker B&B does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.
We sometimes use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A “cookie” is a small file that gets placed on your harddrive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose too.
Security
At The Woodstocker B&B, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read over the internet.
Policy Modifications
The Woodstocker B&B may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
